The ONETEN R Hi-FLOAT is a secret tuned jerkbait designed to deliver exceptional performance during high water temperature periods when weed and grass cover is dense. Developed in collaboration with pro guide Shinji Sato, this specialized model is tailored for rapid floating techniques that trigger reaction strikes from inactive bass.
Its primary action involves a simple two-jerk cadence followed by a pause to allow the buoyant lure to rise above submerged vegetation. This floating presentation effectively prevents fouling in thick weed beds while drawing predatory fish upward into open water strike zones.
Beyond open grass flats, it excels when cast tightly around shore cover such as brush, reeds, laydowns, piers, and rock piles. The specialized buoyancy profile makes it a versatile tool for targeting bass holding in complex structure.
