Originally engineered as a high-response trout lure, the Smith Luna Mebaru F has been redesigned specifically for targeting rockfish in light saltwater game. Its precision balance allows for sharp, decisive side-to-side turns with a single twitch of the rod.
Equipped with lightweight #12 mebaru hooks, this floating minnow swims effectively in the shallow subsurface zone just below the water line. It triggers reactive strikes from wary fish that standard straight retrieves fail to entice.
The lure excels with aggressive twitching, strategic pauses, and specialized techniques like wall-slamming along cliff edges and structure.
