The Smith Mebapen Solid is an acrylic solid plug expertly engineered to imitate a baby squid, specifically downsized to 1.4 inches in response to strong angler demand. Built with a solid acrylic body rather than standard hollow ABS molding, it delivers natural translucency and unique optical characteristics underwater.
Designed for light saltwater game fishing, this slow-sinking pencil perfectly targets rockfish and other saltwater predators feeding on squid larvae. The distinct texture and clarity in the water trigger aggressive reaction bites from wary fish.
Equipped with ultra-sharp Cultiva ST-36BC #18 treble hooks, the lure provides reliable hooksets and landing performance right out of the package.
