The TIEMCO Trout Micro Cicada is an ultra-compact bug plug designed to mimic terrestrial insects struggling on the water's surface. Despite its small profile, it delivers sufficient casting distance to target selective trout feeding on cicadas and other fallen insects across lake and stream surfaces.
A gentle shaking retrieve creates realistic surface ripples and a trembling panic action that provokes aggressive topwater strikes. For moving water, employ a natural drift while occasionally adding light twitches to trigger visual predatory responses.
Equipped standard with a belly treble hook, it can also be customized with twin single hooks on the front and rear eyes for a dead-drift approach. Adding a feather to the tail further reduces forward movement during subtle shaking presentations.
