MOTHERBAITS

Finding an authentic Japanese Domestic Market lure — not a US-market reissue, not a gray-market repaint — is the first real obstacle for anyone building a serious JDM box. Motherbaits exists to remove that obstacle entirely. Direct access to authentic, high-performance Japanese fishing lures with inclusive international shipping. US orders arrive duty-free, with import costs handled before the package ships. There's no customs broker call, no surprise invoice at the door.

Japan's bass fishery is small, intensely fished, and largely clear — conditions that force innovation faster than abundant water ever will. Anglers there ran out of easy fish decades ago, and the tackle evolved to solve a fish that watches a lure before deciding. That pressure-first design lineage is why Japanese bass fishing lures now set the pace globally.
