The Megabass SUPER-Z Z1 in Matte Tiger is a highly technical, compact crankbait engineered to dissect shallow-to-mid depth zones and trigger aggressive reaction strikes from bass.
Built to excel in stained, murky, or heavily pressured waters, this bite-sized dynamo delivers the violent water displacement and bold visibility required to draw fish out of heavy cover.
Advanced Engineering & Action
LBO II Weight Transfer System: Equipped with Megabass’s frictionless linear bearing technology, the Z1 casts like a much heavier lure. It delivers pinpoint accuracy and bullet-like casting distance, allowing you to effectively cover water even in stiff headwinds.
High-Pitch Evasion: Built with a sharp diving action and a tight, high-frequency wobble, the Z1 is specifically designed to hunt aggressively through structure. It powerfully deflects off rocks and timber, instantly righting itself to trigger instinctual reaction strikes.
Hydrodynamic Profile: The teardrop-shaped body and specialized bill allow the lure to cut efficiently through the water, making it a highly stable and versatile tool for searching expansive flats at varied retrieval speeds.
Tournament-Ready Hardware: This lure is equipped with premium components and sticky-sharp treble hooks to ensure maximum hook-up and landing ratios straight out of the box.
While some finishes are built for subtle realism, Matte Tiger is a legendary, high-visibility shock pattern designed to dominate in stained, turbid, or low-light conditions.
Rather than matching natural prey, this vibrant mix of chartreuse, bright green, and an orange belly is engineered to provoke instinctual, aggressive reaction strikes from territorial bass.
The non-reflective "matte" finish is a crucial feature: it eliminates unnatural sun glare in shallow water, presenting a solid, glowing silhouette that is incredibly easy for predators to track in muddy environments. Accented with bold black tiger stripes to break up the lure's profile, it provides a distinct, unmistakable target when water clarity drops.
