The issei bibibi Chu is an innovative floating soft bug lure designed around the profile of a dragonfly nymph. Engineered by Haruhiko Murakami, it combines castability with surface buoyancy to perform walk-the-dog actions and enticing splashes.
Featuring three-dimensional curved body ribs that stir water and refract light, this lure includes three pairs of soft legs and antenna-style tails that deliver micro-vibrations with subtle water movement. Its hollow-molded body ensures buoyant surface presentation and high hook-up ratios.
The hollow body is equipped with a top drain hole to expel trapped water during use. For added buoyancy or prolonged use, customizable floating inserts can be cut to approximately 0.5 in and inserted directly into the core.
