The DAIWA Morethan Groovin 70HS is a high-specific-gravity compact sinking minnow engineered specifically for daytime seabass games in shallow waters, tidal flats, and estuaries. Supervised by shallow master Katsumi Yamauchi, this versatile hard lure delivers a variable swimming action based directly on retrieval speed.
During slow retrieves, the lure produces a subtle, wide swing action akin to a sinking pencil. When retrieved quickly, it shifts into a high-pitch, tight wobbnroll action similar to a vibration bait, maintaining its target swimming depth effortlessly even in turbulent currents where standard vibration lures fail.
Constructed with a semi-flat side body and half-scale design for enhanced flashing, the lure offers versatile depth coverage from 19.7 to 31.5 inches at high speeds and 27.6 to 59.1 inches on slow retrieves. It features balanced internal weighting capable of casting distances up to 80.9 yards.
