Supervised by Masaya Onuma, the DAIWA Morethan Switch Hitter Slim S is a dedicated sinking pencil designed to trigger strikes when seabass are selectively feeding on specific bait patterns like polychaete worm spawns. Its slender body mimics a wide variety of baitfish and micro-prey, allowing it to adapt effortlessly to finicky saltwater game fish.
This lure produces a subtle tail-slide action combined with an irregular staggering motion that naturally creates strike windows for highly pressured fish. In addition to enticing subtle bites, the design ensures outstanding casting distance to reach distant feeding lanes and surface blitzes with ease.
Built for shallow-water targeting, it operates effectively from just below the surface down to approximately 1.0 ft deep. It comes factory equipped with sharp #14 treble hooks and robust #1 split rings for reliable hookups and landing performance.
